From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Denis and Carolyn, who made us feel like old friends rather than mere guests. the room, though categorized as 'small,' was surprisingly spacious and beautifully appointed with modern decor, a comfortable bed with German pocket spring mattress, and a well-equipped bathroom that exceeded our luxury standards. the small touches like plush robes and slippers, and the presence of a flat-screen TV and electric kettle, truly made us feel like we were staying at a five-star retreat. The property's garden and magnesium pool provided a serene sanctuary for relaxation, while Denis's culinary skills elevated our dining experience to new heights. the offer to have Denis cook for us was an absolute highlight-his meals were a culinary masterpiece, complemented by impeccable service and a never-empty wine glass. the personalized recommendations for local activities and dining options truly added a special touch to our visit. the serene location on the outskirts of Beechworth provided a peaceful ambiance, allowing us to unwind and recharge in a tranquil setting. the wealth of amenities, including garden furniture for outdoor relaxation and free toiletries, further exemplified Beechworth House's commitment to exceeding guests' expectations.
